How to Reach (from Dehradun):

Here are various transportation modes that you can choose from, for your journey from Dehradun to Saindul Village which is around 110 km from Dehradun:

  • Self-Transportation
        • First, make your way to Dehradun.
        • From Dehradun, there are two routes available for Nainbagh that one can choose from, depending upon the traffic and road conditions.
        • Upon reaching Nainbagh, move further towards Saindul Village (roughly 28.3 km away) .The route is scenic and takes you through the beautiful landscapes of Uttarakhand.
  • Shared taxi service
        • Upon arrival in Dehradun, you can take a shared taxi from Gandhi park (Parade ground) to Nainbagh.
        • Upon reaching Nainbagh, change to another taxi which will further take you to Saindul village (merely a ride of another 1 hour) 
  • By Bus
      • Upon arrival at Dehradun, one can opt for bus services that are available from Gandhi Park or Railway Station
      • These buses drop you off at Nainbagh, from where one needs to change to a personal cab/shared taxi for Saindul Village
  • From Dehradun Airport (Jolly Grant Airport) to Saindul Village:
  1. Upon arrival at Dehradun Airport, you can hire a personal cab directly to Saindul Village.The distance is somewhere between 130-142 km depending on the route you choose.
  2. In case you are travelling on a low budget, take a taxi to reach Dehradun city (approx. 27.5 km away), from where public transport options like bus and shared taxis are available as mentioned above.

Our property is located amidst a forest area, one can find Spiders, Chameleons (Girgit), frogs, Millipedes (Kankhajura, Mosquitos, Grasshoppers), wild Lizards, birds, dogs, and occasionally, snakes may come around to meet the guest. There is no need to panic as they are harmless unless provoked. You are requested to call our scout and a trained professional shall escort our guest from nature to their home.
