The Goat Village- Kanatal boasts three locally re-done cottages and two newly built rooms at 0 and 1 level, which allows us to accommodate a group as big as 20 people. Here, guests are encouraged to immerse themselves in the natural surroundings, experiencing life away from the hustle and bustle of city living.
Each cottage at The Goat Village- Kanatal offers double, triple, and quad accommodations, ensuring comfort for solo travelers, families, and groups of friends. Designed to provide an excellent living experience, the cottages are adorned with Garhwali-inspired decor, reflecting the local culture. Guests can expect a peaceful stay in these charming abodes, surrounded by the beauty of the Himalayan landscape.

We are an utmost environment-conscious homestay based on the tenets of “Reduce-Reuse-Recycle”. We discourage any litter which is non-biodegradable in nature.
Our property is located amidst a forest area, one can find Spiders, Chameleons (Girgit), frogs, Millipedes (Kankhajura, Mosquitos, Grasshoppers, wild Lizards, birds, dogs, and occasionally, snakes may come around to meet the guest. There is no need to panic as they are harmless unless provoked. You are requested to call our scout and a trained professional shall escort our guest from nature to their home.
Fortunate guests may spot Deer, Barking Deer, Jackals, Wolfs, 26 Varieties of Birds, Giant Moths, and Leopards.
